ROSELAND, NJ — Gardens at Roseland has reached a key construction milestone, with initial framework at this new luxury multifamily community now underway. Upon completion, the Garden Communities property will offer 211 luxury single-level and duplex apartments, along with a resort-style amenity package.

Located at 146 Harrison Ave. in Roseland, Gardens at Roseland brings a fresh, upscale multifamily housing option to one of western Essex County’s most desirable suburban towns. The initial offerings will feature a mix of one- and two-bedroom residences in four-story, elevator-serviced buildings. Spacious, modern layouts feature up to 2,500 s/f of well-designed living space.

“Gardens at Roseland’s impressive amenities, ultra-convenient location and diverse product mix truly stand apart,” said Garden Communities’ Lori Dargento, property and leasing manager. “This one-of-a-kind lifestyle experience will appeal to every demographic of renter from young professionals and families to empty-nesters.”

Residences at the pet-friendly community will include private balconies or patios, gourmet kitchens, large closets, and in-suite washers and dryers; some layouts include dens. All duplex residences will have an attached, private garage with direct exterior entry. Select single-level apartments will also feature an attached garage with direct entry.

Gardens at Roseland’s community clubhouse – with a fitness center, entertainment room, fireside lounge and private workspaces – is designed to foster an active lifestyle. Outdoor amenities include a multi-use sports court with pickleball and basketball; a heated pool and sundeck; and al fresco dining and socializing with BBQ grills and firepits. EV charging stations will support eco-friendly transportation.

Gardens at Roseland’s enviable address adds to its appeal. Roseland blends a peaceful, “small town” lifestyle with a variety of shops and restaurants, and easy access to New York City. The borough boasts a highly regarded elementary school; numerous parks and recreational facilities; and the Essex County Environmental Center, a facility of the Essex County Park System. Roseland is proximate to I-280 and other major roadways.

In other news, Garden Communities has announced two more retail tenants at Legacy Place, its luxury mixed-use development in East Brunswick. The latest additions include a dental practice and an ice cream and candy shop, which will serve the larger community while enhancing the wide range of lifestyle amenities for residents of the community’s 520 luxury rental apartments and townhomes.

The new leases include Legacy Endodontics, a newly established practice led by an experienced dentist, and ice cream shop Marley and Harley’s Creamery and Confections, a new business venture founded by two East Brunswick residents.

Nancy Finkelstein, leasing representative of Garden Commercial, arranged both leases on behalf of property ownership.

“This multifamily-and-retail development has been carefully planned to serve as a valuable contributor to the community, and bringing in a mix of quality commercial tenants is key to achieving this goal,” said Finkelstein. “As we fill the community’s remaining retail availabilities, we will be focused on securing tenants that complement the property’s dynamic.”
