FAIRFIELD, NJ — GZA GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (GZA), a leading multi-disciplinary firm providing geotechnical, environmental, ecological, water, and construction management services has promoted Bhuvnesh J. Parekh, P.E., LSRP to the position of associate principal.
Formerly a senior consultant with GZA since joining the firm in 2018, Parekh will take an expanded leadership, mentoring, and business-development position within GZA’s environmental engineering practice in New Jersey, focusing on complex and innovative remediation design projects.
Parekh is licensed as both a Professional Engineer and Licensed Site Remediation Professional in New Jersey and has more than two decades of experience in project management, environmental consulting, remediation engineering, and construction management.
He has successfully designed and implemented technologies manufacturing air pollution control systems, air sparging, bioslurping, ozone-sparging, point-of-entry treatment systems, soil vapor extraction, pump and treat, Light Non-Aqueous Phase Liquid (LNAPL) recovery systems using dual phase extraction and skimmer pumps, and other mobile treatment systems.

Parekh earned two master’s degrees, in Bioresource Engineering from Rutgers University and in Environmental Engineering/Environment Technology from the University of Mumbai.
