York, PA — Moove In Self Storage announced two new hires:
Maggie Hagan has been hired as the operations coordinator. Hagan will report directly to the vice president of operations Shaun Lewy, and will support the operations and home office teams.
In this role, Hagan will be responsible for onboarding and managing third-party utility companies, scheduling meetings between departments, creating and processing expense reports, managing the schedule, calendar, and travel for members of the operations team; and putting together monthly reports.
Before joining Moove In, Hagan worked as an executive assistant in an orthopedic practice. She grew up in the Manheim, PA area but now resides in York with her boyfriend and her dog Blair.
“Maggie’s curiosity about the self storage industry combined with her can-do attitude will make her a wonderful addition to the operations team, Lewy said. Her administrative experience will make the transition into her new role a smooth one.”
Moove In Self Storage has announced the hiring of Kurt Knepshield as district manager. Knepshield’s district will encompass Moove In’s Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, and northern New Jersey locations. Knepshield will also be reporting directly to Lewy.
Knepshield’s responsibilities will include supporting properties within his territory, team member development, performance enhancement, reviewing pricing and competition surveys; and preparing employee performance reviews, property budgets, operational reviews, and expense reports to manage financial controls and property performance.
Before joining Moove In, Kurt worked as a district manager for Life Storage. He has a proven track record of leading and developing a solid team environment while focusing on driving factors in self-storage. Prior to his seven years in the self-storage industry, Knepshield’s experience was in retail, where he established a sales and customer service mindset which will largely contribute to the enhancement of the Moove In customer experience.
Knepshield currently resides in Massachusetts with his wife Kristina, and their two children Makayla (19) and Tyler (13).
