GREENCASTLE, PA — A private collection years in the making concluded at Hurley Auctions, ending a year long process to sell the estate of Chester Wayne Miller of Boonsboro, MD. The final auction, the fifth held for the estate, was an extensive civil war & military sale.
The star of the auction undoubtedly was a c. 1801-1806 Johannes Spitler painted blanket chest, with stylized birds and flowers and original hand forged hinges. Bidders traveled from near and far to view this

GREENCASTLE, PA — Matt Hurley of Hurley Auctions in Greencastle has been hosting a live Nativity scene for the community for the last three years.
