What is your greatest professional accomplishment? Closing $40 million in real estate transactions in one month.What is your most notable project, deal or transaction?

Closing SilkLofts in Bayonne, NJ for $32 million. SilkLofts is an 85-unit luxury loft apartment complex.How do you contribute to your company and / or the industry?

I spend time mentoring newer associates in our New Jersey office and will sometimes travel into our New York office to give various sales presentations.

Who or what has been the strongest influence in your career? Tom McConnell who is a managing partner at the firm. Tom taught me everything I know in the business and is one of the smartest people I know. He is always there when I need him. I can call him at 11pm on a Sunday with a question and he will answer the phone. Tell us how and when you began your career in the profession you are in, about your current position and why you choose the field/profession you are in today? I started in the business immediately after graduating college. I have many family members in real estate who inspired me to get into the business. I knew brokerage would provide me with many opportunities to learn and grow. What were some of your early goals and did anything happen to change them? My goals are always being raised. My early goals are the same as I have today. I set extremely high benchmarks for myself each year and I do my absolute best to reach them.

What challenges and or obstacles do you feel you needed to overcome to become as successful as you are today?

When I first started it was just about understanding my markets. I studied every detail of every city I work in. It took me years to learn every small detail. Now, I take pride in knowing my market like my own backyard. What was the most defining moment for you? When I did $40 million in sales in one month. What inspiring word of advice would you give to a young executive graduating from college? I would say to continue studying your path of interest extensively. I am constantly trying to learn and absorb more in our industry. The more you know the more valuable you become.
