Camden County Workforce Development Board is responsible for the oversight and fiscal management of the County’s One-Stop Career Center, a consortium of partner agencies that provide assistance with career development, training and job placement to residents throughout Camden County. “The measure of our success is the number of people we can successfully place on their career ladder. We are not about finding a job, rather placing individuals on a career path.” said Jeffrey S. Swartz, executive director.
A common frustration among job seekers and employers has been the difficulty of finding quality information on available employment and training programs, having to go from one place to another to actually receive information and services. The Camden County One-Stop Career Center system has transformed this fragmented array of employment and training programs into an integrated system for both job seekers and employers.
