Buccini Pollin Group partners with Pettinaro to manage residential portfolio

WILMINGTON, DE — Wilmington-based developer Buccini Pollin Group, Inc. (BPG) announced a partnership with Pettinaro Management, LLC, to be the third-party manager for the Pettinaro portfolio of residential properties. The eleven properties total over 3,000 apartment units throughout Delaware and Maryland.

ResideBPG, the residential property management affiliate of Buccini Pollin Group, will assume management of day-to-day property operations and leasing. Under ResideBPG leadership, BPG will extend employment offers to existing Pettinaro associates to provide for a seamless transition and maintain continuity at the property level.

“We chose Buccini Pollin Group to manage our apartment portfolio for several reasons. As a family-owned business like our own – a company that builds and maintains ownership for the long term and is committed to the same communities that we serve – we are confident that their management style and decision-making process aligns with the philosophies that we had while managing our assets. Additionally, we admire BPG’s use of continually advancing technology to improve asset performance and service to tenants,” said Mike Walsh, COO of Pettinaro. “For these reasons, we believe BPG will maintain a consistent culture for the associates and tenants, who have both been so important to our success at Pettinaro.”

“ResideBPG’s leasing and property management model has proven to be successful beyond Wilmington, and we are excited to grow our third-party business with the addition of the Pettinaro portfolio,” said Rob Buccini, founder of Buccini Pollin Group. “Our deepest appreciation goes out to the Pettinaro family and team for recognizing our best-in-class approach and entrusting us with their residential portfolio.”

“This partnership will prove to be mutually beneficial. Since we focus on the suburban residential market and BPG focuses on the urban residential market, we will learn from each other’s expertise,” continued Walsh. “We look forward to a very long relationship with BPG as we continue to grow our portfolio through new acquisitions and exciting new construction.”
