CHICAGO, IL — JLL has appointed Ryan Room as COO for its Property Management business. Room succeeds Kristin Mueller in the role, who was appointed president of JLL Retail Property Management.
Room has more than 20 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry and most recently served as JLL’s Regional Property Manager for the Greater Philadelphia region, with oversight of 85 office properties in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. During his time in this role, he drove results and efficiencies across the portfolio achieving 73 percent market share growth under his leadership. Room joined JLL more than eight years ago as a general manager in the Indiana market before advancing to regional responsibility.
“As Ryan expanded our portfolio, market position and associated revenue regionally, he also kept an esteemed focus on existing clients, employees and overall market operations, making him an excellent fit for the COO role,” said Mark Zettl, president of Property Management.
Caroline Gadaleta will assume Room’s prior role as the regional manager for Greater Philadelphia, expanding her responsibility from New York Tri-State to oversee the combined region. Gadaleta has been with JLL for 12 years and has served as the Tri-State lead for the last two years, increasing the portfolio to 27 million managed s/f.
